Student Projects
This is a collection of the semester projects from
HIST 333: Galileo in
Context. For this course, Professor Van Helden requires his students
to divide into groups and complete group projects which are presented
as World Wide Web resources as well as traditional oral presentations.
Astronomy
- Spring
1995 -- Undertook a series of observations using telescopes of similar
imaging quality to Galileo's.

1996 -- Sought to reproduce Galileo's astronomical findings.
Experiments

1995 -- Duplicated Galileo's pendulum, parabola, and inclined experiments.
